About

Hello! My name is Amanda Ewert, I am an education student at the University of Regina, finishing my fourth year of university. I am currently in my internship at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School, teaching in a grade 7/8 split classroom.

I have always wanted to become a teacher… it just took me some time to take the steps to do so. For the past six years I have been working as a legal assistant at a law firm based in Regina with my focus being primarily on real estate and estate planning. My varied life and work experiences have taught me many lessons which I feel will be valuable as a teacher in the classroom.

I have been married to my husband Geoff for 16 years and together we have three great children ages 10, 9 and 5. Our children are involved in many activities such as hockey, figure skating, swimming and gymnastics. When we are not busy running our children to and from activities we enjoy quality family time together by spending time outdoors, playing sports, creating art and generally living an active, healthy lifestyle.

I love to keep busy, so in my free time (haha) I love to read, create art, bake, decorate, play sports and go for long runs with our English Springer Spaniel named Rosie.
